The primary suspect in LaTonya's murder was her boyfriend, Ronald "Red" Williams, 43. Williams was killed in Gary, Indiana on September 22, 2005. He was never charged with LaTonya's murder. Her murder remains unsolved.

Francisco's remains were located in a metal box by road workers. Inside, police found body parts. The box had been welded shut. The remains were positively identified through dental records. Francisco's murder remains unsolved.
