Christine Coffman, step-grandmother to Matal, entered a guilty plea to Matal's murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
Melissa Schmidt-Maser, 15 - Lincoln, Nebraska- Missing: 09/05/1995- Located Deceased: 01/2007
Todd Baker, 44, was already serving a life sentence for another murder committed in the mid 1990's when he decided to tell investigators where they could find Melissa's body. He was sentenced to life in prison. No reason was given for the murder.

On March 23, 2009 Philip Blankenship entered an Alford plea of guilty to the murder of Olivia Seals. When asked by the judge if he in fact was guilty his reply was "No". He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Brenda Sierra, 15 - Montebello, California- Brenda Sierra was abducted the morning of 10/18/02 while walking to a friend's home. Her body was found the next day. Rachel Smith was reported missing with her friend Rachel Crites. They were both found deceased inside Rachel Crites' car. Their deaths were ruled suicides.

Joshua Davis, 22, a neighbor of Savannah Smith's, pled guilty to her murder, kidnapping and molestation. He was sentenced to three consecutive life terms.

Wyatt's body was located in a nearby septic tank. His death was ruled axphyxia due to drowning. It has not been determined if the drowning was an accident or criminal negligence.

Candace was allegedly abducted by her estranged boyfriend Michael Singh from the home of her parents at gunpoint. Her sister witnessed the abduction. Candace's death was solved in 2009.

Avery and his brother, Tristan White, disappeared from the front yard of their grandfather's home on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. Their bodies were located in the lake a half-mile from the grandfather's home. Their bodies were encased in ice.
Linda Steele, 4 years - Warren, Michigan- Dawn Yorke, 51, is accused of strangling her 4-year-old granddaughter Linda Steele on June 11, 2009. Yorke, a paranoid schizophrenic, was caring for the child at the time of the incident. She was arraigned on murder charges and ordered to undergo a mental status exam.

Lorrie Thomas, 39, Shylae's adoptive mother & Aunt pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter in the starvation murder. She was sentenced to 10-15 years in prison in January 2010.
Aaroné Thompson, 4 - Aurora, CO- Aaroné Thompson was reported missing from her Aurora, Colorado on November 14, 2005. Police believe she was murdered at least two years prior to her reported disappearance. Her father, Aaron Thompson was tried and convicted on 50+ charges of child abuse and one charge of child abuse resulting in death. He was sentenced to 114 years. Aaroné's body has never been found.

Charges: Pre-meditated murder, sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 and lewd and lascivious battery. This is a death penalty case.
Tunstall Siblings - Saint Louis, Illinois- Tiffany Hall pled guilty to the murder of her childhood friend, Jimella Tunstall, 23, her friend's unborn child and her friend's three children; Demond Tunstall, 7, Ivan Tunstall-Collins, 2 1/2, Jinella, 1 1/2. Hall was sentenced to four life terms in prison plus 60 years.
