You say you don't believe Mr. Fields would ever do anything like that; but the fact remains he confessed to having the relationship when he was questioned by the police. If you will notice I did not let the parents off the hook for allowing the "friendship" and the rides to school with and from Mr. Fields. However, I do not place blame on the girl. She is a child, Mr. Fields is the adult. He knows the rules of being an adult and a teacher and one of those rules is that you do not get into a relationship with your students. You do not get into a relationship with a juvenile PERIOD. Please don't blame the victim and stand up for the predator.
